About me

I'm an industrial engineer in love with programming and multidisciplinary challenges.

From 2018 to 2021, I completed my PhD in experimental aerodynamics while working full-time as an interim lecturer at the University of Málaga.

After finishing my PhD, I moved to Barcelona, where I worked for KION as a programmer for autonomous guided vehicles, traveling worldwide to implement automation projects. In April 2024, I became the Robotics Automation Engineer Team Lead for the Iberia region.

I'm constantly expanding my skill set and developing useful apps for research. I'm also open to part-time collaboration on R&D projects where my expertise can add value. Feel free to explore and use the resources I've shared on this page.

Portfolio

dpivsoft

av-AI-lable

Project developed for TESELA, a Granada-based company specializing in innovative materials. Implementation of a predictive model using machine learning and deep neural networks to optimize the design of ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC), reducing the need for experimental testing.

This project was selected in the competitive European call "StarwAI", aimed at facilitating AI adoption for low-tech users, and received funding in 2023.

In 2024, TESELA was awarded the Best Innovative Company of the Year at the "Granada, City of Science and Innovation awards".

dpivsoft

DPIVSoft

Python open project for particle image velocimetry using cross-correlation in a multy-pass algorithm with windows deformation. This work is based on the Matlab version for DPIVSoft, developed at IRPHE institute. The main advantages of this proyect are:
1. it only use open languages.
2. It allows GPU acceleration with OpenCl, achiving a speedup of x80.

BEMT

BEMT

Matlab application for easily design and simulate the performance of rotor blades using Blade Element-Momentum Theory (BEMT). It offers an intuitive interface with powerfull options, as several corrections to the basic BEMT method, an interface to XFOIL and also the possibility to export stl files with the rotor geometry to easily 3d print it.

Youtube-SCAM-detector

A Python tool designed to identify and remove scam and spam comments on YouTube videos. This is done using a fine tunned NLP model and the YouTube API to interacts with your channel's comments section. In addition to its core functionality, this project also includes the training process of the NLP model and offers a preliminary analysis of the comments.
